Formation cultural competence of primary school students

Based on the analysis of regulatory documents (Law Ukraine “On Educationˮ, State Standard Primary Education, Concept New Ukrainian School) and scientific pedagogical literary sources, essence concept “cultural competenceˮ is theoretically interpreted. The competence primary education studentsˮ clarified, which means an integrated complex knowledge, abilities, skills in field art, personal qualities, ways thinking, views, ideas, values, ensures ability readiness to apply acquired experience, provides possibility express oneself creatively, discover develop natural talents using visual arts, graphic sculpture, music, choreography, theater, decorative applied arts other forms art. On basis theoretical Educational Programmes, as well own experience practical work, forming cultural students accordance with content educational fields have been determined systematised. Arts branch be leading one for formation students. Teaching methods art lessons extracurricular contribute school students, are discussed.
